What is good... LANGUAGE

After looking at the worldwide languages, i decided to look into what were the most commonly spoken languages in the uk. Due to a heavy amount of immigration from across the world, there are now a lot of languages spoken in the UK.

Albanian/Kosovan, Arabic, Bengali, Bulgarian, Chinese, Cornish, Croatian, Czech, English, Estonian, Farsi /Persian, French, German, Greek, Gujerati, Hindi, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Scots, Scottish Gaelic, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Tamil, Turkish, Urdu, Vietnamese and Welsh.

These are the most commonly spoken languages taken from a census by the Office of National Statistics. this was done in partnership with the local authorities across England and Wales.

Not all the languages that are spoken in this country are understood by everyone, and i think this can create a huge barrier between people and their cultures. we need to understand that immigration is going to happen and instead of causing conflicts over it, we should try to understand everyones cultures. I think it is right for immigrants to understand english as they are moving into this country, however we should try to understand them in order to make the transitions smoother. If there weren't language barriers then people would be understood more and therefore wouldn't end up having to defend themselves without knowing the proper use of english.
