School workshops
We believe students have the best possible introduction to Shakespeare if actively introduced to the themes, characters and language before seeing a production. Depending on your students' knowledge of a play, school workshops can offer a first introduction or a more in-depth insight to the play and creative choices made for this production.

  • Adaptable for students with or without prior knowledge of the text
  • Full or half-day workshops, available throughout term-time
  • A maximum of three workshops (90 students max) can run simultaneously
  • Flexibility offered on times

Half-day workshops run: 10am-12noon, 1-3pm or 4-6pm
Cost: £180 / £165 Education Members

Full-day workshops run: 10am-3.30pm or 1-6pm
Cost: £320 / £305 Education Members

THE EXPERIENCES ARE THE SAME FOR 16+ : We offer a wide range of workshops and events to enhance student's confidence with Shakespeare's texts, and their engagement with our productions. We advocate the principles of active approaches to working with students and teachers when exploring Shakespeare's plays. Through delivering work inspired by these principles, we believe that young people can feel a connection to Shakespeare.

We work in partnership with the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust to deliver our popular Sixth Form Conferences on at least one play every season, these sessions explore original performance conditions in relation to our current production.
