Helen Mirren makes Prospero a woman in Shakespeare film
Dame Helen Mirren is helping transform a Shakespeare hero from a man to a woman, and from the stage to the screen.
She plays Prospera, written as the male character Prospero, in a film adaptation of The Tempest which has just held its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
